Apparel / Textile Technologist (opportunity for juniors and seniors)

We are looking for a new team member to join our friendly production department at SILVINI, a leading manufacturer of sports apparel for cycling and cross-country skiing. This position is open to both experienced professionals and skilled graduates. We will fully tailor the role, level of responsibility, and assigned projects to your existing experience. What matters is the willingness to get involved and learn; we will gladly teach you our workflow. We will completely adapt the position to your experience.
What will you be doing with us?
- Developing new styles and preparing them for sampling and actual production.
- Selecting and approving materials, colors, prints, and accessories for collections.
- Creating technical documentation for products and cutting technologies.
- Testing, commenting on, and modifying produced samples.
- Daily communication with manufacturers abroad and coordinating production.
- Monitoring current trends and (depending on your experience) independently managing your own development projects.
Who exactly are we looking for?
- You have a secondary/university education with an apparel or textile focus.
- You are knowledgeable in materials, pattern construction, and textile technologies. (Experience in the field is a great advantage; for graduates, we will gladly teach the specifics of our workflow).
- You actively and confidently communicate in English (both spoken and written) – you will be in daily contact with international suppliers.
- You are proficient in PC use, specifically Adobe Illustrator, MS Office, and Outlook.
- You are independent, meticulous, and possess organizational skills.
- You have an overview of fashion trends and ideally a positive relationship with sports.

- Start date: Immediately, or by mutual agreement.
